This men’s Rolex 16263 is more than just a traditional DateJust watch. It is also called the “Thunderbird” or “Turn-o-Graph” and is an important piece of Rolex watch history. Released in the 1950s, the Thunderbird was the first Rolex to offer a rotating timing ring. It was also the first Rolex sports watch with a two-tone finish. The DateJust’s iconic Cyclops date is displayed at the 3 o’clock position. The dial features yellow gold Roman index hour markers and Tritium lume plots. A sapphire crystal and a screw-down crown protect the dial and the automatic movement cal. 3135 for years of reliable measurements. A 36 mm Oyster case, an 18K bidirectional rotating bezel and a Jubilee bracelet in steel/gold with a classic folding clasp ensure excellent wearing pleasure & a cool look.
