History

The original Omega Speedmaster ref CK2998 was introduced by Omega in 1959 and is today one of the most popular vintage Speedmasters. The CK2998 is the first Omega Speedmaster in ‘space’, worn in 1962 by astronaut Wally Schirra. Omega has re-introduced the CK2998 in 2016 as a limited edition of 2,998 pieces.

Features

Stainless steel case (39mm). Blue bezel with tachymetric scale. Scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. Manual chronograph movement cal. 1861. Functions: chronograph with 30-minute & 12-hour registers, small seconds, central chronograph hand. Presented on Omega leather strap.
