Shell Cordovan lends itself so well to this particular green color. Hand dyed and then hand glazed to create this rich bottle green. We are big fans.

For the past 115 years and spanning five generations, the Horween tannery in Chicago has been making Shell Cordovan. It is a horse leather that comes from a very specific part of the animal, the rump. Of the specialized tanneries around the world that can produce this leather, Horween is considered the very best. It is a very tight leather with no grain structure. If you run your hand along this leather in either direction, it feels like glass....
