Introduction

Alain Dominique Perrin (Cartier) launched in 1977, as a marketing strategy, the “Must” watch collection. The Tank Must had a silver case with a (Gilt) gold layer (Vermeil). Over the years there were 14 models available in 4 different sizes. Characteristic were the different colored dials and the different designs. The Must watch collection was a great success worldwide due to the price, the quartz or hand-wound movement and the wide variety of dial-styles.
