Cartier Must de Cartier lady wristwatch
Alain Dominique Perrin (Cartier) launched the “Must” collection in 1977. It was an innovative solution to the “quartz crisis” of the era – to create a range of inexpensive timepieces to pay tribute to its most popular timepiece, the Tank, but use more economical materials to produce it. The Tank Must was fitted with a silver case with a gold layer on it (Vermeil). There were 14 models available in 2 different sizes & a great variety of dials. The result was that this range of wristwatches saved Cartier from a particularly calamitous era in watchmaking.
Gold-plated watch case (vermeil) with dimensions of 20 x 27mm. Black dial with golden hands. Mineral glass. Manual winding. Fitted to a new leather strap from own collection. This watch has been fully serviced & comes with our 3-year warranty certificate.
