The Cartier Tank Divan was introduced in 2002 following the successful introduction of the Tank Française in 1995. The Tank Divan is not an interpretation of an old model but a unique horizontal rectangular model and a fine addition to the Cartier Tank collection. Although the horizontal Cartier 'Baignoire' introduced in 1912 may have been the inspiration in no time.
